Janusphere Dance Company was founded in 2007 by Danielle Genest, Jaime Kotbra, and JDC director Darion Smith. Originally, based in New York City until 2014, JDC features the work of its resident and guest choreographers. JDC's incredible dancers bring the company's artistic vision to life.
Creation, collaboration, and community enrichment are the central themes in JDC's mission. So far, with over 50 public performances, including new work, and numerous collaborations with award winning artists, JDC is closer to fulfilling its mission.
Janusphere draws on the talents of a diverse, exceptional, and growing group of dancers. The diversity of Janusphere’s dancers and choreographers makes them an ideal group to achieve the Company’s vision.
